    About this Position

    We’re on the lookout for a weekend warrior, a seasoned and driven Operations Manager ready to take full ownership of our warehouse and transport operations while most of the city sleeps in. This is your chance to step into the top leadership seat across Saturday and Sunday, running a high-volume, fast-paced distribution environment and ensuring every order is delivered with precision, care, and speed.

    You’ll be the one calling the shots, leading a tight-knit team across transport, warehouse, and stock control, and ensuring operations run like clockwork.

    Key Responsibilities (6 : 00 AM - 2 : 00 PM, Saturday & Sunday)

    • Take charge of daily warehouse and transport operations across Transport, Warehouse, and Stock Control.
    • Drive compliance across safety (OH&S), food standards (HACCP), and company procedures.
    • Maintain momentum and performance by hitting all key KPIs and shift targets.
    • Support and influence branch-level strategies that improve service delivery and profitability.
    • Keep our warehouse, fleet, and tools audit-ready and operating at peak efficiency.
    • Back our Stock Control and Supply Chain teams to ensure zero disruption and smooth stock flow.
    • What We’re Looking For

      To thrive in this role, you will bring :

    • A proven track record in Operations Management, ideally within food services or FMCG.
    • Experience managing cold store or temperature-controlled environments.
    • The grit and leadership chops to motivate teams and make independent decisions.
    • Strong planning and prioritisation skills, you thrive in high-pressure, fast-moving settings.
    • Confidence managing solo shifts and balancing multiple moving parts.
    • Clear communication and a calm, solutions-first attitude.
    • Forklift Licence, essential.
    • A Certificate III in Transport & Logistics will be viewed favorably
