The Switchboard operator is part of a small team delivering an effective, courteous and professional first point of telephone contact. The role responsibilities include a provision of immediate responses to Code and Emergency Calls; efficient delivery of telecommunication services by directing phone calls, pager requests and public address related messages in line with protocols and telecommunication etiquette.
We are looking for someone who has :
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills and ability to relate well to all people including professional staff and the general public
- Demonstrated high level of proficiency in keyboard skills
