Moulding Technician

Labourpower Trade are Seeking Moulding Technicians for ongoing work based in Minto in the Plastic Industry.

This is a Permanent Position Monday to Friday with Overtime available.

• Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to
• Start-up of moulding jobs in accordance with set-up sheets.
• Productive utilisation of equipment - producing to expected cycle time and standards.
• Assist with die setting when required.
• Assist in set-up of ancillary equipment (i.e. hot stampers, sonic welders).
• Ensure correct changeovers of moulded product during the shift (i.e. colour changes, material changes).
• Maintenance of process conditions to standard and reporting of variances and reasons to Operations Manager.
• Request repairs or improvements to tooling or machinery from Tool room or Maintenance Departments.
• Ensure processes, machinery and tooling are operating in safe condition.
• The quality of output in accordance with quality specifications.
• To be successful for this position
• Previous experience in a Moulding Technician position
• Experience with die setting, insert changes and machine start up and shutdown
• Experience with troubleshooting to maintain our accepted quality of products
• Maintaining cycle times
