About us Our Client are looking for dependable and motivated Trades Assistants / General Hands to complete maintenance work within the rail industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a hands-on background who are seeking consistent work, Monday to Friday, on a high-profile infrastructure projects.

This is a project role that will run for 18 – 24 months starting this month.

Assist with general mechanical and equipment maintenance on train carriagesRemove and refit covers, seats, and fittings using hand toolsSupport technicians and tradespeople with installation tasksMaintain a safe and orderly work environmentAttend toolbox talks, inductions, and follow all site safety protocolsHours : Monday to Friday, approx. 8-hour daysStart time : 7 : 00 AM or 7 : 30 AMTo be successful, you will possess the following : Rail Industry Worker (RIW) card – desirable but not essentialDriver's license and a reliable vehiclePrevious experience in a general hand, trade assistant, or labouring roleComfortable using hand tools and basic equipmentAbility to follow instructions and work safely in a team environmentMomentum is innovative, results-driven & customer focused.
