- About the Role
Reporting to the Manager Community Care you will be responsible for providing a high standard of administrative assistance to support the large and diverse Community Care Department. This will include supporting the service delivery coordinators as required and providing an excellent customer service experience to members of the public, clients and staff.
You will be responsible for :
- Providing confidential and personal assistance and administrative support to the Manager Community Care and Service Delivery Coordinators.
- Completing a range of department administrative activities in an accurate and timely manner.
- Preparing accurate and timely meeting agendas and minutes and preparing meeting rooms for meetings.
- Responding to telephone and in person requests and enquiries from internal and external customers whilst always maintaining a high standard of customer service presentation.
- Key Selection Criteria
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies :
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to operate in a busy environment and respond to multiple requests during peak demand periods.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite of programs.
- Ability to work as part of a team and to foster cooperation and assistance in working relationships with other staff.
- Mandatory pre-employment requirements
- Be willing to undergo and complete a satisfactory criminal history check.
- Provide or obtain an employment-based Working with Children check
- Be fully vaccinated with at least two approved COVID-19 vaccines or have proof of medical exemption, in accordance with the Community Care Department COVID-19 Vaccination Policy.
