Private Tutor

Sutton Education is looking for private tutors to service all fields and age groups (including University and mature aged students). These include maths, English, science, languages, business, IT, and more! We offer a mixture of online and in-person tutoring. No tutoring experience is required, as we hire recent high school graduates, experienced tutors, professional teachers, university lecturers, and everything in between.

We allow our tutors to choose their own rate of pay depending on their ability and experience. Newer tutors start at around $30 / hr and professional teachers can make upwards of $50 / hr. Travel bonuses may apply! We then add our commission on top and charge the client. Our business model is different from most other tutoring companies, where we allow the client to select the tutor that suits their needs and budget.

Tutors will be in charge of coordinating with students and determining how lessons are run. We give our tutors a high level of autonomy to teach as they see fit and develop their own skills. The tutor will also have to liaise with Sutton Education, but this work is mínimal.
