CFO / COO - Private Markets Manager

An international Private Markets Manager is looking to appoint a newly created local leader to build out financial and operational capabilities, leading an international team with the expectation of new products launches across multiple jurisdictions.

The role will suit someone with specialist alternative funds knowledge who is looking for a senior level role where they will lead operational capabilities, managing a growing team, with oversight of external suppliers and exposure to clients. You will need to be both strategic and tactical with a broad knowledge in Private Markets or Hedge Funds, including familiarity with valuation complexities, illiquid assets, as well as international private client suitable fund structures (EEA / Cayman and Australian unit trusts), portfolio / share class hedging across both closed and open-ended funds.

This role will be challenging, time consuming but hugely rewarding and will particularly suit detail oriented, passionate, and driven individuals.

Personal Characteristics

• You are an experienced finance or operations professional with extensive knowledge of alternative assets, having worked in private markets and / or hedge funds
• You’re a self-starter and offer suggestions for activity that improves the product you work on
• You’ll skillfully manage the demands and expectations of stakeholders and teams across the business, presenting your work and building relationships while representing your team.
