Job DescriptionSedgman has an opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer with detailed design experience to join our Engineering Team in Perth. The role involves supporting studies, tenders, and projects across the globe, covering commodities such as copper, iron ore, gold, and rare earth minerals. This is a contract position for a set period.

The Role Will Include But Not Limited To

Collaborating with an experienced electrical team to leverage existing project designs and provide innovative solutionsManaging projects through all phases from concept to operationsDesigning electrical systems for ore processing facilitiesDefining design methods, specifications, and functional requirementsPreparing feasibility studies, design layouts, cost estimates, and supporting procurement activitiesManaging budgets and schedules during project executionConducting site inspections and liaising with stakeholdersProviding engineering support during installation, commissioning, and operations

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical)At least 7+ years of experience in project design, commissioning, and onsite environmentsExperience with electrical layouts, safety standards, and low to medium voltage systemsPractical site experience in commissioning, operations, problem-solving (highly regarded but not essential)Experience with multiple commodities is highly regardedStrong communication skills and technical problem-solving abilitiesRPEng, CPEng, or Chartered Status is highly regarded but not essential
