Working for a luxury boutique winery, you will bring your love for fine wine and confident people skills to work the venue when the cellar door is quiet to drive sales.
A lovely, engaging phone manner, to follow up member purchases and provide customer service.
Willing to learn, take the initiative, and be seen as a valuable team member within the wider organisation.
Recent experience in cellar door operations and sales is preferable for this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct tastings with diners and cellar door visitors, telling the Levantine Hill brand story, with an emphasis on closing take-home wine sales.
Actively drive sales of the company's wine products in line with daily and monthly targets.
Sell wine subscriptions and Wine Club memberships – 'The Inner Circle'.
Demonstrate and share your passion and knowledge of wine to craft memorable customer experiences (RSA / WSET) desirable.
A sales gun, working with the Cellar Door and the restaurant floor specifically to identify members wanting to purchase take-home wine sales and build relationships.
Work effectively with the Direct-to-Consumer team to pass on leads generated within the restaurant for follow-up.
Participate in technical tastings representing a broad consumer perspective, including corporate members, large format groups in our private VIP space.
Handle and develop the customer and cellar door visitor databases.
Manage and record stock movements.
Opening and closing duties of the venue.
Take active responsibility with health and safety policies to implement control strategies to eliminate or minimise risks.
Support our tourism strategy by liaising with tourism partners to plan group visits and cellar door tastings.
