Shed Hand / Forklift Operator

THE ROLE We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift / Sideloader Operator to join our team, on a full-time basis in Wingfield, SA. The candidate will perform Pick Packer responsibilities when not operating the forklift or sideloader.

This role emphasizes contributing to our vision of being fast, flexible and frequent, and involves the following tasks :

Loading, unloading, receiving, relocating, and storing products with accuracy;Following warehouse traffic management plans;Manually picking and packing orders;Performing miscellaneous warehouse labor tasks;Complying with legislated & company WH&S systems;Inspecting & performing minor maintenance on machinery;Adhering to all company policies & legal guidelines;Liaising professionally & politely with stakeholders;Maintaining accurate attention to detail of information & data; andUndertaking additional duties as required.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Current forklift ticket with a minimum of 3 years of operational experience;Side-loader experience, highly regarded;Strong working knowledge of WH&S legislation;Previous experience loading trucks with product, highly regarded;Demonstrated attention to detail with effective written & verbal communication;Collaborative interpersonal skills;Proficiency in operating technical machinery and RF Scanners, desirable;Familiarity with timber warehouse operations, desirable; andEvidence of reliability and professionalism.EMPLOYEE BENEFITS Birthday Leave, compliments of Woodhouse;Company uniforms provided;Employee Assistance and Wellbeing program;Discounted Private Health Insurance;Discounted gym membership;Regular functions (i.e., Staff Monthly lunches, mid / end year parties) compliments of Woodhouse;Supportive friendly culture and environment; andOpportunities for training and career development.Woodhouse is an Equal Opportunity Employer, embracing diversity & inclusion, with a strong commitment to Safety.
