Field Service Hydraulic / Mechanical Technician (Brisbane)

Client :

An engineering company that specialises in custom design of hydraulic components - cylinders, valves, pumps, and more.

Newly created positions due to company growth, they're looking to appoint a mechanically biased service technician. Covering the Hunter Valley & Central Coast - occasional mine site travel (overtime paid and all expenses). Fault, find, and repair on automation equipment, PLC experience is desirable.

Duties & You :

• 360 Project Coordination, attending site, meeting and greeting customers face to face
• Supporting operations to repair and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
• Ordering of new parts, stock control, liaising with procurement
• Reading CAD design, hydraulic schematics
• Strip hydraulic and pneumatic components ranging from large gearboxes, hoses, pumps, cylinders
• Rebuilding and testing components, fault find and repair
• Those with any electrical / automation experience - work would include sensors, actuators, PLC's
