This NSW Government agency is a major service provider who strives to deliver a more consistent and efficient experience within government. This government agency uses data and behavioural insights to drive improvements with government and providing services to NSW. We are looking for someone to start ASAP for a 7 month contract paying up to $1,100 day + Super. This role is located in Haymarket / WFH

  • About the Role
  • We are currently seeking to appoint a Capability & Engagement Specialist with a leading NSW Government agency to be responsible for the analysis and proactive management of business demand for new or modificative services

    and the systematic identification, analysis, management, monitoring and improvement of stakeholder relationships in order to target and improve mutually beneficial outcomes.

    Key accountabilities include :

  • Identifies the communications and relationship needs of stakeholder groups to inform better decision making and drive organisational priorities and outcomes
  • Translates communications / stakeholder engagement strategies into specific activities and deliverables to effectively meet service delivery standards
  • Acts as a single point of contact, facilitates open communication and discussion between stakeholders, by developing, maintaining and working to stakeholder engagement strategies and plans to ensure the delivery of fit for purpose solutions
  • Captures, reviews and disseminates technical and business information to meet the specific needs of different customers / stakeholders
  • Implements demand management analysis and planning activities to mitigate risk and optimise service delivery outcomes
  • Performs what-if analyses and scenario planning; develops insights and proposals to improve business value
  • Manages the process of integrating demand management with complementary strategic, operational and change management processes to ensure requirements and standards are met and the successful delivery of key milestones and outcomes on time
  • Reviews new business proposals; provides advice on demand issues and routes requests to the right place to inform and set the business priorities
  • About You
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of appropriate strategies for, and experience in managing delivery of advice and information
  • Ability to work outside of hours as required
