Beacon Legal have partnered with a leading global construction company in their search for a new Senior Legal Counsel. They are looking to hire someone at the 8+ PQE level, to be based in their Sydney office.

We’re seeking a proactive and motivated infrastructure and projects lawyer to support a dynamic and expanding legal team. This role offers the opportunity to work across major infrastructure, renewables, and clean energy projects across the APAC region. The senior legal leadership within this organisation are seasoned professionals and excellent to work with.

About the Role

• Lead and support the negotiation, structuring, and drafting of complex construction contracts in public infrastructure, renewables and heavy civil projects across Australia and the wider APAC region.
• Advise senior stakeholders on legal issues arising throughout the project lifecycle, from bid stage through to execution.
• Work closely with Business Development and Management teams to provide legal and commercial advice on strategic transactions.
• Ensure compliance with company protocols and internal procedures.
• Provide guidance on risk allocation and mitigation in project delivery.
• Manage external counsel where required and support internal legal operations.
• Engage with cross-functional teams and participate in business development initiatives across the region.
