Hourly rate is based on experience / hours of service.

About this roleAs a growing region, Greater Brisbane Home Care is looking for dedicated Qualified Home Care Workers to join their team of compassionate professionals.

This role involves working between 30 to 60 hours per fortnight, assisting elderly clients to live safely and independently in their own homes while promoting their well-being and autonomy.Home Care Workers in this position work independently, traveling from one client to another and are fully supported by a skilled team that includes two very supportive Team Leaders and three Senior Home Care Workers who guide and assist field staff when working autonomously.

Greater Brisbane Home Care holds a monthly team meeting to foster team building and provide ongoing support.

To ensure they receive the highest standard of care, your reliability is crucial for maintaining regular shifts and providing coverage during both planned and unexpected absences.Qualified (Level 2–3) : Support clients with daily activities such as showering, dressing, and toileting.Assist clients with their medication routines, ensuring adherence to prescribed regimens.Help with household tasks, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.Provide companionship, assist with social outings, and support clients in engaging with their communities.Contribute to the development and review of individualized care plans, ensuring they meet clients' needs and preferences.
