Labourer / Ohs Labourer

We are seeking a OHS Labourer to join our busy and growing team for upcoming and ongoing works. Must be highly reliable, experienced and competent person.

Our business provides design, construction and project management services for residential, commercial and industrial projects. With a strong pipeline of work for the next 12 months, we are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our organisation. • ABOUT THE ROLE

The role provides a chance to work in an experienced team with future career growth potential. Reporting to the Site Manager & OHS Manager.

The successful applicant will ideally have experience in a similar role and be seeking to take on additional responsibilities and challenges.

The primary function of this role includes, but is not restricted to :

• Ad hoc labouring duties as required - Traffic control, assisting with keeping the site clear of obstructions, assisting the site manager as needed.
• Direction and monitoring safety procedures on site
• Site walks / audits as required
• Direction and monitoring safety procedures on site as required
• SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Have a Current Drivers License and own vehicle (mandatory)
• Full unrestricted Australian working rights
• Can do attitude, high energy, willingness to learn
• 5+ years experience within the construction industry
• Have a current building & construction industry induction card (White Card) (mandatory).
• Cert III OHS minimum (essential)
• Commitment to maintain a culture of safety
• Covid-19 vaccinated (mandatory)
• Traffic Management licence (highly desirable)
• Additional construction tickets highly regarded
• Good knowledge of construction works - able to assist trades on site with works as required
• Willingness to adapt to tasks and conditions.
• Good communication skills, always exhibiting professionalism and working as part of a team (everyone collectively pulls their weight)
