- We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This position is primarily based at The Marsden Brewhouse in Marsden Park and will also involve coordinating events at The Log Cabin in Penrith.The Marsden Brewhouse offers a variety of event rooms, combined with old-fashioned hospitality and service. With beautifully designed rooms, an extensive range of catering options - canapes, set menus, and grazing boards to be enjoyed with your closest family & friends.

THE OPPORTUNITYReporting to the Head of Sales & Events, as an Event Coordinator at The Marsden Brewhouse, you are responsible for but not limited to :
Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, from inception to execution, ensuring seamless and memorable experiences for guestsCollaborate with internal teams to understand event goals, objectives, and target audience to create event strategies and plansLiaise with clients in the lead up to, during and following their function or eventCoordinate event logistics, including registration, audio-visual setup, catering, transportation, and accommodation arrangementsPrepare, manage and facilitate event activities as well as following up with client post eventOversee on-site event management, including setup, registration, guest management, and troubleshooting to ensure a flawless event experienceWHO ARE YOUAs a driven, passionate and focused individual you will possess the following attributes and skills :
Minimum 2 years' experience in event coordination or event and functions operationsExperience using SevenRooms or Ivvy advantageousPossession of impeccable attention to detail and time management skillsExcellent communication and relationship building abilitiesThe ability to work a varied roster including weekends and eveningsImmaculate presentation paralleled with the service deliveryProfessional, driven & strong team playerIndividual who thrives on responsibility and takes initiative when bringing ideas to the table.Have drivers license and ability to travel between venues
