• The Role

We are currently recruiting for an energetic and passionate Kitchen Hand

The position can be either on a full-time or casual basis, with either morning or evening shifts.

• Your key duties and responsibilities will be, but not limited to
• Perform opening, closing and side work
• Provide assistance to prep hands and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak times
• Keep food preparation areas clean
• Clean kitchen equipment and appliances
• Clean benchtops, floors, ovens and ranges
• Receive, lift, handle and store food deliveries
• Retrieve food items as requested by chefs
• Assist with food preparation
• Operate the industrial dishwasher
• Ensure working areas are kept clear
• Empty and clean all trash receptacles
• Follow sanitation policies at all times
• Report any hygiene or maintenance issues to appropriate party
• Skillset and Experience
• 2 years relevant experience in a similar role
• Flexibility to work around a varying roster?
• Ability to follow directions and safety requirements
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively
• High aptitude for following workplace guidelines, procedures and policies
• Physical endurance to stand for an entire shift
• Ability to work as part of a team
