Municipal Operations Supervisor

Veolia ANZ has a fantastic opportunity for an Operations Supervisor to join our residential team based in Bibra Lake WA 6163. As the Operations Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Residential Collections Fleet.

Key to this role will be to ensure all scheduled collections are completed in a timely, efficient and safe manner and all driver productivity is maintained at an acceptable level and allocation of work with legal timeframes, while adhering to Veolia policies and procedures, Chain of Responsibility compliance including Fit for Duty checks, driver fatigue, mass management and associated requirements.

• What you'll be responsible for
• Managing the daily operations to ensure resource allocation and job completion.
• Supervising a team of drivers across recruitment, training, staffing and performance management.
• Driving continual improvement of processes and procedure.
• Ensuring customer expectations are exceeded handling complaint management and resolution.
• Overseeing purchasing and suppliers.
• Ensuring safety standards are maintained.
• What you'll need to be successful
• Relevant qualification preferable
• Experience in waste management preferable
• Supervisory experience
• Sound knowledge of minimum WorkCover Safety requirements
• Full knowledge of Chain of Responsibility obligations
• Current C Class driver's licence
