Join us on our journey of excellence
We do “the right work, the right way, for the right reasons.”
We are seeking to establish a pool of passionate, committed and future-focused teachers to join our dynamic school community for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Whether you're an experienced teacher or at the beginning of your career, we are looking for educators who share our deep commitment to student growth, equity, and continuous school improvement.
Aspiri has recently been selected to participate in the Department of Education’s Centre for Excellence in Explicit Teaching. This recognition affirms our commitment to high-quality, evidence-informed instruction and teacher development. As part of this initiative, our school is focused on building and sustaining practices that make a measurable impact on student outcomes in English and Mathematics. In English, we are strengthening the structure and consistency of our whole-school Literacy Block, with a clear focus on fluency routines and the systematic teaching of phonics through the Letters and Sounds program. Through the use of COST (Components of Spelling Test) we are deepening our shared understanding of what effective teaching looks like, sounds like, and feels like in Years 3-6.
Our Mathematics improvement agenda is equally robust. We are implementing daily reviews and the Concrete–Representational–Abstract (CRA) approach to support the development of deep mathematical understanding. Our Math Committee is currently researching best practice, with an emphasis on consistent, explicit instruction across all year levels.
Wellbeing is foundational at Aspiri. Our students are explicitly taught and immersed in our HEART values – Honesty, Effort, Attitude, Respect and Teamwork – which guide behaviour, shape culture, and reflect our moral purpose as a school. These values are embedded in our day-to-day interactions and are the compass for how we support both students and staff to thrive. We believe that a kind, safe, inclusive, and values-based environment allows students to take risks, grow confidently, and build positive relationships.
Aspiri has embraced a distributed leadership model, recognising that great schools are built on collaboration, shared purpose and teacher voice. Staff actively lead and contribute to a range of committees and working parties that drive improvement in areas such as English, Mathematics, Early Childhood, Cultural Responsiveness and Wellbeing. Our commitment to Department's Leading Cultures of Teaching Excellence program reflects our belief that strong teaching cultures come from collective efficacy, trust, and professional accountability. All staff are supported to engage in classroom observation, feedback cycles, and ongoing professional learning aligned with our whole-school priorities.
