Please note this is for the 2026 Vascular Service Registrar Intake commencing 2nd February 2026.

This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time appointments for 6-12 months with the possibility of extension(s).

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 06 / 12 / 2025.

Salary : MP Year 1-7 $145,318 - $194,401 p.a. (inclusive of base salary, 11.5% superannuation and professional development allowance)

Position Profile

We are recruiting for Service Registrars specific to Vascular Surgery. This position provides and promotes high quality and patient centred care to inpatients and outpatients of the specialty under the supervision of consultant medical staff. It also provides training, supervision and education for Resident Medical Officers (RMOs). The successful registrars, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, will work to achieve National, State and Metropolitan Health Service performance standards and the National Safety and Quality Healthcare Standards.

Three service positions are available, two full time clinical, the other will be one week of clinical work and one week of research. Please note that the on call commitments are the same for both jobs and you may be asked to cover clinical work even during the research week to ensure high quality patient care.
