Located in Canberra

  • Initial 12 month contract with possible extension
  • Baseline clearance required
  • About the role

The IT Service Desk provides essential support to our client's IT Services environment. The successful applicant will have the following :

  • Prior experience on the IT Service Desk or similar
  • A strong customer focus and strong troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to answer phones confidently.
  • Experience documenting incidents through the service management capability
  • Experience with; AD, User accounts management, resource groups, distribution lists, front facing exchange features and elevated permissions.
  • Flexibility with working roster
  • To be physically capable of moving and lifting equipment such as monitors, desk printers & other general IT assets
  • Managing allocated workload and priorities on a day-to-day basis
  • Required skills and knowledge
  • Demonstrated experience in an ICT environment.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Executive and Ministers
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all ICT support levels.
