The Business Sales Consultant adds value by contributing to building a high performing culture, by driving personal sales performance and delivering an excellent customer experience.
Responsibilities & DutiesAchieve growth sales targets through sales planning, identification, and prospecting.This will involve, but is not limited to, cold calling.Execution of structured outbound sales campaigns as implemented by the Business Sales Leader, and measure effectiveness / conversion of campaign.Participate in the development, implementation, and ongoing review of plans to acquire budgeted customer growth, both volume and margin.Pipeline Management - build a pipeline through registering leads and report on the status of all prospects in the customer pipeline, including future opportunities.Identify value creation opportunities to maximise margin and ensure new business customer contracts are profitableDevelop effective verbal & written sales techniques to deliver on sales conversion targetsBalance the tension of customer numbers vs margin / profitability to achieve business goalsAccurately prepare and present contract documents and client proposals. All proposals and contracts are approved by the Manager unless advised differentlyMaintain current knowledge on products, competitor products and other general market information of interest of value to customers.Participate in regular meetings to review results, set strategies and determine business plans related to assigned clients.Adhere to the quality, governance and process controls implemented across sales processes in the Business sales teamAdhere to quality call protocols, policies and procedures to ensure compliance guidelines are metRequirementsCompletion of minimum of Year 12 or equivalent experienceA degree qualification in business or related field is not necessary, but highly desirable.Telephone based sales, service or customer operations environment, with a strong sales performance and customer service focus.The ability to achieve and exceed sales targets in an intensely competitive environmentStrong communication, influencing and negotiation skills (verbal & written)Self motivated team player, with good planning and time management.Who are weAt PERSOLKELLY, our passion is - and always has been - putting you first.
