The Role
The role requires a creative and passionate Room Leader to work lead a team of experienced Educators in accordance to policy and procedures. This role is highly dynamic and creative, giving the right candidate the opportunity to deliver a truly inspiring Montessori early learning experience.
To develop the Children's Program (reflecting Early Years Learning Framework guidelines).Ensure a safe environment is maintained for staff and children, with particular attention to children with anaphylaxis, allergies, asthma etc.To ensure that accurate records are kept in regards to accident, incident, injury, illness and medicationTo liaise with families in regards to the day to day happenings.To maintain observations and records of individual children's progress, particularly those identified through staff observation.
About You
Min. Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA equivalent)Experience working as a Room Leader in an early childhood settingCurrent Working with Children CheckFirst Aid Certificate or willing to obtain oneExcellent understanding and working knowledge of the NQFExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environmentStrong understanding of the importance of family communications
