• About the Role

Our client is seeking for a

• Logistics Officer
• to work within DSD to manage security equipment and work closely with Technical Team Leaders assist in the completion of security installations overseas.
• Key Responsibilities

Logistics support of security equipment, including :

• Manage project equipment stocks and assist DSD Project Manager with procurements to maintain required stock levels.
• Manage deliveries and storage of project equipment within DFAT Canberra and at offsite storage locations.
• Preparation and management of shipments to overseas missions.
• Maintain an inventory / register to control all security equipment at overseas destinations and in storage in Australia.
• Undertake stocktake and audit of domestic security equipment.
• Work under limited supervision, including planning, prioritising and organising work for self to achieve deadlines.
• Other duties as directed by the Project Manager.

• Mandatory
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• Ability to work with mínimal supervision in adverse or high stress environments.

• Eligibility / Other Requirements
• To be eligible for employment for this role, you must be an Australian citizen. Must hold a Negative Vetting 2 (NV2) security clearance or higher.
