Company offers X-ray, Ultrasound, CT scan and BMD (DEXA) at Carrum Downs, Hampton Park and Rowville clinics.They seek multiple experienced Radiographers to join their highly skilled and dynamic team.The RoleThis is for a full-time role with an annual salary at $80,000 - $85,000 plus superannuation and will be based in their Carrum Downs, Hampton Park and Rowville clinic.ResponsibilitiesManaging patients and operating different medical imaging equipment.Optimize the settings on various imaging devices such as X-ray machines, CT scanners,Compute critical factors such as exposure duration, radiation dose, and contrast levels for imaging procedures.Explain imaging processes to patients, addressing concerns and ensuring understanding.Take necessary measures to ensure patient comfort and protection from unnecessary radiation.Relay important findings and diagnostic images to reporting Radiology promptly and clearly for reporting.Regularly check and maintain imaging equipment for correct and safe functioningRecord details of imaging procedures and findings for patient records and future referenceAdhere to established safety standards and protocols to minimize radiation exposureEngage in continuous learning and professional development activities to stay updated with advancements in radiography and medical imaging technologiesRequirementsBachelor Degree in Medical Imaging (Diagnostic Radiography)At least 2 years' experience in using digital imaging technologies and software for processing, storing, and retrieving imagesAt least 2 years' experience in operating various imaging devices including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound equipmentAt least 2 years of general X-ray experience is essentialHold a valid and current AHPRA registrationHold a Victorian radiation licenseExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively and a patient focused approachWorking rights in Australia
