Fabrication Coordinator

Job descriptionPlanning, execution and coordination of maintenance / fabrication schedules Work allocations Develop workshop job packs to ensure maximum efficiency Ensure all scheduled work is completed safely, to a high quality and as per client requirements Work closely with the Workshop Supervisor ensuring a high level of QA / QC Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external suppliers Procure materials as per scope of works and within budget Generate project reports and job invoices Assist with quoting and estimating of works ABOUT YOU Previous experience in a similar leadership and / or coordination role specifically within a fabrication workshop A strong working knowledge of the Mining and Construction Industry Trade background, ideally as a Boilermaker The ability to interpret specifications and understand technical drawings An understanding of design, national standards and welding practices within the industry IN RETURN Company housing provided Competitive remuneration with a fortnightly pay cycle Career development. - THE ROLE
We now have the exciting opportunity for a Fabrication Coordinator to join our Karratha Workshop team. Reporting to the Operations Manager - Fabrication, this position comes with an attractive remuneration package and company housing provided.
Working Monday to Friday this full time position is responsible for :
