Responsible for completing high quality maintenance activities for parks, reserves and streetscapes within the City, you will need to be able to make informed technical and operational decisions and provide support, leadership and advice to staff members and apprentices as required.

We can offer you variety with duties that include mentoring, developing and maintaining work programs, preparing maintenance schedules, landscaping, garden refurbishment, pruning, litter removal, fertilising, mulching and general garden maintenance.

You will be required to work to daily maintenance schedules and safely operate of a variety of horticultural equipment.

• Trade Certificate Horticulture or the possession of relevant experience in a Parks maintenance environment appropriate to position requirements.
• MR' class driver's licence.
• OHS General Induction for Construction (White Card)
• Sound communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of occupational safety and health regulations.
• Relevant practical experience in landscape / amenity horticulture industry.
• As well as a gross weekly wage of $1,298 (incorporating all allowances and penalty rates), we offer
