Your opportunity

  • Provide HR advice and support to employees in our Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane offices, understand their needs and requirements and deliver a range of HR solutions to meet their needs
  • Coach managers on all employee related matters and use HR knowledge to escalate complex matters, including performance management, redundancy, disciplinary and employee conflicts
  • Work with the wider global HR team and deliver on relevant HR Projects, including Talent Reviews / Succession Planning, Employee Engagement, Compensation, Talent Development, Talent Acquisition etc
  • Use and analyse people data to help the business make informed people decisions
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the global HR Business Partner team, including colleagues in London, Denver and Singapore
  • Keep abreast of developments in Australian employment law and review / update employee handbooks and people policies, as required
  • Your role may require you to interact with other JHI offices, employees and third parties based in different time zones, outside of core business hours, such as the UK, USA and Asia.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned

  • Strong client relationship skills and the ability to build strong rapport with the major stakeholders
  • Solid experience running HR projects and implementing new initiatives
  • Strong working knowledge of Human Resource Management and HR policies; especially employee relations and regulatory requirements in Australia
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple competing priorities and manage effectively to meet all deadlines.
  • Nice to have skills

  • Knowledge of SAP and SuccessFactors would be beneficial but not required
