About the role
Based in Tennis HQ (Melbourne) and reporting to the Director of Strategy in this role you will work across the organisation to :
Lead the development and regular refresh of TA's annual rolling 5-year strategy.Lead the AO and Summer of Tennis debrief governance process, aligning views of what worked well, opportunities for improvement and implications on TA strategy.Lead the AO Review governance process to frame key decisions for future AO.Lead the governance of TA's sustainability strategy, including regular refreshes of the strategy and chairing of a cross-functional forum to ensure alignment to strategyDesign, implement and directly manage a governance structure and process to oversee the implementation of the business' key strategic initiatives.Assist the Director of Strategy in ad hoc strategic projects throughout the course of the yearAbout you
What you will bring to the role :
5+ years of experience in developing and implementing corporate and business unit strategies and organisational operating models, in a top tier strategy firm and ideally corporate environmentExperience in strategy and business plan development, inclusive of problem resolution and opportunity assessmentExcellent analytical ability and objective analytical approachStrong project management skills, including project scoping, brief development, and project team leadership to drive tangible resultsEffective communication and ability to manage appropriate dialogue at all organisational levelsAbility to exert personal influence and build value-based relationships, including ability to build and drive extended and virtual teamsFinancial acumen (nimble with P&L, key ratios, and balance sheet with focus on economic profit)Experience working in sport, media, B2C and sustainability is beneficialYou must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.What's in it for you?
