Charge Up Operator

Catalyst Metals Limited (ASX : CYL) owns and operates the Plutonic Gold Mine, located in the Eastern Gascoyne region of Western Australia. The mine produces approximately 85,000 ounces of gold annually. In addition to Plutonic, the Company holds the Four Eagles Gold Project in Bendigo, Victoria.

Over the next 12 to 18 months, Catalyst plans to bring three new mining areas at the Plutonic site into production, reinforcing its commitment to growth and operational expansion.

Reporting to the Underground Mining Supervisor, the Charge Up Operator plays a key role in the safe and efficient charging of development and production drill holes. Key responsibilities include :

• Safely handling, transporting, and storing explosives in compliance with safety regulations.
• Minimising waste and ensuring correct disposal of explosive materials.
• Charging development rounds in line with established development standards.
• Executing production charging according to charge plans and procedures.
• Watering down all headings prior to work commencement to ensure effective dust suppression.
