About the role

As a Site Hand / Site Installation Assistant with Pro Metalwork, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful delivery of installation projects across the ACT region. In this full-time position, you will be an integral part of the on-site team, assisting with a variety of hands-on tasks to ensure the smooth execution of our metalwork installations.

What you'll be doing

Assisting skilled tradespeople with the installation of fabricated metal components and products

Assisting our site supervisors with the installation of our products including handrails, shelters, awnings, pergolas, screening / fencing, gates and balustrades. Experience with glass balustrade systems would be highly regarded.

Performing basic maintenance and cleaning tasks to keep the work area organised and safe

Unloading and moving materials and equipment to support the construction process

Following all safety protocols and wearing the required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Collaborating with the team to troubleshoot issues and find efficient solutions

Adhering to project timelines and quality standards

What we're looking for

Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
