We have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a

• Technical Writer and Support Services Specialist
• on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is pivotal in supporting the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) Management Systems across the Transit Systems (Australian Public Transport) Division.
• Duties
• Provide technical expertise in the development and maintenance of integrated HSEQ management systems aligned with ISO standards.
• Assist in the creation, review, and continuous improvement of procedures and work instructions.
• Support local business units in implementing new formatting and ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
• Coordinate the ongoing review and enhancement of the Integrated Management System within Strategic Business Units.
• Develop and deliver training programs to promote quality and safety awareness.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive HSEQ reports and ensure timely delivery of improvement recommendations.
• Assist with the management and development of intranet resources related to HSEQ systems.
• Facilitate the promotion of a safety-conscious work environment through active participation in risk management processes.
• Skills, Qualifications & Experience
• Qualifications
• Tertiary qualifications in Work Health & Safety or a related discipline.
• Experience
• Demonstrated experience in the implementation and coordination of integrated management systems.
• Knowledge
• Strong understanding of the Work Health & Safety Act, ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001, and 55001), and risk management principles.
• Skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to consult openly with management.
• Strong research, analytical, and evaluation abilities.
• Methodical problem-solving approach and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
