Job Details Job Summary : Responsible for effectively executing wide-ranging business development tactics to meet or exceed targets by prospecting new clients and leveraging existing relationships. The goal is to bring in new business and develop long-standing relationships for repeat business.
Job Description : Manage own sales territory (named accounts and / or geographic / market-based) and achieve annual and quarterly signings and revenue targets.
Generate new clients through cold calling, networking, business partnerships, and sales activities to promote PharmaLex services.
Identify emerging companies and deploy sales techniques to find and close business to meet or exceed targets.
Act as the client point of contact, ensuring ongoing satisfaction throughout the sales process.
Collaborate with internal operational departments to develop the value proposition.
Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
Manage the sales process from lead generation to proposal, contract negotiation, and deal closure, involving PharmaLex resources as needed.
Participate in global and regional sales meetings, scheduled face-to-face once or twice a year, and virtual meetings as required.
Leverage networks to acquire new business.
Pre-Requisites : At least 5 years of experience selling clinical, regulatory, pharmacovigilance solutions, and complex services contracts in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or Medical Device markets.
Results-driven with the ability to work effectively in a global matrix environment.
Proven ability to hunt for and close new business.
Sense of responsibility and diplomacy.
Excellent command of English and strong communication and presentation skills.
Willingness and ability to travel within the territory and globally when needed.
