About the role
As a
Learning and Development Advisor
you will be at the forefront of driving positive change and cultural evolution across our organisation. Working closely with our Culture and Organisational Development team, you will have the opportunity to co-design and develop innovative learning programs that meet the needs of our diverse workforce. Your expertise and passion for adult learning principles will ensure our employees are engaged, motivated, and equipped with the skills they need to succeed.
A typical day may look like
Leading the facilitation and supporting the development of our Onboarding Program and other exciting L&D initiatives through human-centered design and experiential techniques to engage your audience
Collaborate with stakeholders to align learning design with our competency framework and strategic objectives to support Activ's L&D strategy.
Providing expert support and advice to the organisation on training and learning needs through gap analysis to identify opportunities.
Creating engaging learning programs, workshop materials, and documentation using instructional design methodologies to deliver impactful learning experiences.
Forge strong partnerships with our Registered Training Organisation (RTO) team and external vendors to ensure we have access to the best learning and development resources available.
Keeping our Learning Management System (LMS) updated, maintaining learning content, and monitoring usage to ensure optimal learner engagement.
Contribute to creating comprehensive training plans and related documentation to support key business initiatives, projects, and programs.
Coordinate, facilitate, and evaluate the success of talent and development programs, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and contribute to a safe and inclusive work environment.
Experience in supporting Learning & Development initiatives, including design, facilitation, and coordination of activities.
Understanding of Learning and Development frameworks and adult learning principles.
Understanding of community and social issues related to disability service provision
Demonstrated ability to prepare reports and analyse statistical data
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Demonstrated experience coordinating and scheduling events and / or learning activities.
Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management, Education, or another related discipline
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent is desirable
National Police Clearance and / or NDIS worker screening check.
