Service Technician

We're looking for an experienced Service Technician, based out of the Tamworth branch.

About the role In this role, you'll be responsible for diagnosis, repair and maintenance of a wide range of livestock handling equipment at various client locations across the Tamworth and wider region.

This role requires a good understanding of mechanical, electrical (12v), pneumatics and fabrication, as well as problem-solving and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities On-site Service & Repair : Travel to client locations to diagnose & repair equipment malfunctions, perform preventative maintenance & ensure optimal performance

Troubleshooting : Utilise diagnostic tools & technical expertise to identify root cause of equipment failures & implement effective solutions

Maintenance : Conduct regular maintenance on equipmentClient Communication : Communicate effectively with clients, provide updates on repair progress, explain technical issues & ensure client satisfaction

Mentorship : Provide guidance & support to junior technicians, share knowledge & best practicesParts Management : Assist in managing parts inventoryDocumentation : Accurately document all service activities, including diagnoses, repairs & maintenance performed
