Support Worker

Shine is a not for profit organisation offering local, personal and quality community support within the aged care sector for over 40 years.

Shine is an approved Home Care Package provider, in addition to our existing Commonwealth Home Support Programme and Council funded services.

Our services offer a fresh approach to aged care. They focus on the consumer's wellbeing and goals for independence. We strive to assist all consumers to live independent and safe lives their way, whilst remaining connected to their community.

We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Casual Support Workers (with the opportunity to become Permanent Part-Time) to work in the lower north metropolitan region (Cottesloe and surrounding suburbs). Employment is available on weekdays and weekends and mornings and afternoons to suit your personal circumstances.

As a Community Support Worker you will assist our clients in all aspects of daily living including domestic assistance, cleaning, personal care, shopping, transport, meal preparation and social support within a wellness and reablement framework.

Applicants will be required to have or working towards a Cert III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent, National Police Certificate, Current First Aid Certificate, reliable vehicle, current driver's licence and mobile phone.
