Quality Systems Specialist - Internal Auditor

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for a Quality Systems Specialist - Internal Auditor to be part of Audit & Assurance Team. In this role you will report to the Functional Excellence, Audit & Assurance Manager - Quality and will be an integral part of the Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) Quality Team. You will provide support to the Audit & Assurance Team in the planning and execution of the QMS internal and supplier audit program.

• Responsibilities
• Drive a culture First Time Quality (FTQ) and continuous improvement across BDA.
• Coach internal team members, as appropriate, to enhance employee performance through expansion of skills and capabilities.
• Manage relationships within the broader Quality Team and with key stakeholders to ensure deliverables and timelines are met.
• Coordinate and conduct system, process and product audits to determine compliance with Quality Management System standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements and report results to management.
• Prepare and maintain internal audit deliverables including working papers, report, audit findings, status updates and analysis of key trends.
• Provide assistance with facilitating risk discussions and workshops with the business.
• Keep abreast of industry standards and regulations.
