Local Connectors provide personalised support for housing, education, partner job opportunities, and community integration.

The successful candidate will be able to teach Christian Studies across the Primary and Secondary Years, lead chapel services and facilitate our Christian youth groups within SGS.

Scone Grammar School (SGS) is an Anglican Co-Educational School for positive, flourishing learners from Preschool to Year 12. Based in the Upper Hunter and part of Newcastle Anglican, our Christian faith and values lay a safe, caring foundation.

Advanced Diploma in Theology or Ministry A deep passion for the gospel of Jesus Christ and the emerging generation Experience in dynamic church and school-based ministry to children and families. Willingness to participate in co-curricular activities, school decision making processes and professional development. Desire to work as part of a team, both within school and with the local parish to expand opportunities for students to grow their faith. Capacity and experience in teaching Christian Studies. Commitment to the education and wellbeing of young people. A Bachelor's degree of Theology and / or Education Valid NESA teaching accreditation and registration. The successful applicant will possess or willingness to obtain the following : NSW Working with Children Check, National Criminal History Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes) and will be committed to our school values and proactively contribute to our SGS team.
