Horse Trail Guide & Activities Facilitator

• About the Role

This part-time role is designed to support the Horse Manager in the day-to-day running of our horse program.

• Key duties include
• Assisting with feeding, grooming, and daily care of horses and animals
• Supporting with health checks and reporting any concerns
• Helping prepare horses for rides and taking guests on trail rides
• General property upkeep (fencing, cleaning yards / stables, etc.)
• Working with and training young horses (where experience allows)
• Welcoming and guiding customers through safe riding experiences
• Supporting junior staff and volunteers
• Contributing to the overall maintenance and positive team culture
• Working across other areas of the business (e.g. adventure activities) during times when horse-related tasks are limited

• Permanent Part time - minimum 30 hours
• About You

We're looking for someone who :

• Has A LOT of experience around horses and animal care
• Is confident working independently and as part of a team
• Can communicate clearly and professionally
• Has great customer service and people skills
• Is reliable, self-motivated, and shows initiative
• Isn't afraid to get their hands dirty (rain, hail or shine)
• Is adaptable, reliable, and happy to switch between horse work and adventure activities

Bonus points for :

• Riding instructor experience
• Fence / property maintenance experience
• Experience training green horses
• First aid or horse safety certifications (not essential)
• Must-Haves
• Over 18 years old
• Available weekends and some weekdays
• Driver's license
