Sap Reporting Analyst

SAP Reporting Analyst (90M0670434) Brisbane, AustraliaRandstad is currently working with an exciting public sector client to find a SAP Reporting Analyst for an initial 13 Month Contract with potential of extension. This role is based in Brisbane city with WFH flexibility.

Purpose of the role : The client isseeking a highly skilled SAP Reporting Analyst to support the detailed design and delivery of ERP reporting and analytics solutions as part ofthe SAP S / 4HANA transformation program. This role requires a strong background in data warehousing , business intelligence , and SAP reporting technologies such as SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) , SAP Datasphere , and S / 4HANA Core Data Services (CDS) . The successful candidate will work closely with the ERP Reporting and Analytics Lead, business subject matter experts, and system integrator teams to deliver functional and technical designs for analytics solutions. The role includes attending workshops, performing assessments of reporting requirements, and delivering functional specifications to support both compliance and custom reporting needs.

Key Duties : Requirements Gathering & Analysis :

Facilitate workshops and interviews with stakeholders across Finance, EPPM, EAM, Source-to-Pay and HR to capture detailed reporting needsMap business requirements to data sources and identify gaps in standard content or delivered reportsReport Design & Specification :

Review functional specifications, mock-ups and acceptance criteria ? Prepare questionnaires and consolidate SME feedback to refine report layouts, metrics and filtersContent Configuration & Validation :

Configure and test standard SAP Analytics Cloud stories, dashboards and SAC models for fit-for-purpose deliveryAnalyse, review and optimize CDS view-based data models in SAP S / 4HANA and SAP Datasphere to support reporting requirements and integrations to source systemsValidate data accuracy, performance and usability prior to releaseSystems Analysis & Compliance :

Assess regulatory or compliance requirements and embed controls into report logic or access modelsEnsure alignment with corporate data architecture, security and governance policies Quality Assurance & SupportLead design walkthroughs, peer reviews and sign-off activitiesTroubleshoot data or functional issues in collaboration with the SI partner and Basis teamProvide end-user training materials and post-go-live support for report consumers Key Skills & Requirements : Demonstrated expertise in requirements analysis, functional specification drafting and report validationStrong experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (stories, dashboards, models) and SAP Datasphere data modellingProficiency in S / 4HANA CDS views and virtual data modelling conceptsSolid understanding of core ERP processes (Finance, Procurement, Projects, Asset Management, HR) and their reporting implicationsFamiliarity with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologiesThe SAP Reporting Analyst applicant must be able to demonstrate :

• Proven experience in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) report development and dashboard design.
• Hands-on knowledge of SAP Datasphere, SAP BW / 4HANA, or related SAP data warehousing platforms.
• Strong experience with S / 4HANA CDS views, ABAP Core Data Services, and virtual data models.
• Understanding of ERP business processes and reporting across Finance, Procurement, HR, Projects, and Asset Management.
• Ability to write and review functional and technical specifications.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
