At OSHC, children have the opportunity to participate in cooking, sport, music, art, dance and so much more.The Y Queensland's childcare services has been at the heart of Australian communities for more than 40 years, with our first early learning service opening in Brisbane in 1977 after we identified the need for childcare that focused on helping children grow inbody, mind and spirit.We are currently recruiting for OSHC Educators on a casual basis to join our YMCA Arundel Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service.About the serviceYMCA St Paul's Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service is a small but mighty service located at the very front of St Paul's Anglican School in Bald Hills.

Situated in Turrbal Country you can't miss us as your turn right entering the driveway!We are big on supporting our children with a range of activities.

When the weather suits, we prefer to keep our children and educators outside in the fresh air enjoying our loose parts, mud kitchen and cubby house areas.We are licensed for 60 children and are unique in that we cater for Pre-Prep children.

We offer Before School Care 6.30-9.00am, After School Care 2.30-6.00pm and Vacation Care 6.30am-6.00pm.We welcome future fun educators who priorities children's play and development with fresh and exciting skill sets.Our Service philosophy very much reflects a child first approach with our Service's primary focus being 'our environment' highlighting the importance of sustainability and 'cultural acceptance and fairness'.

Our educators are dedicated professionals who bring a range of unique skills to share with our families, community and children to assist with implementing spontaneous and directed play and learning experiences.About the roleAs an OSHC Educator you are responsible for the care of children before school, after school and during school holiday periods.
