Job Description

Set within a well-established luxury hotel in one of Queensland’s most vibrant tourism destinations, this role offers the chance to work closely with a respected Group Executive Chef and management team to create a standout guest offering across multiple dining experiences.

This is not a "set and forget" hotel kitchen — we’re looking for a chef with a strong creative voice, a love of Italian and Mediterranean flavours, and the leadership to inspire a talented brigade across multiple outlets.

Candidate Profile

To be considered for this role you will have :

• Creativity around  menu development  and food presentation within contemporary produce-focused cuisine, with expertise in modern Italian cuisine highly desirable
• The ability to  build a team  and culture that is focused on creativity, quality and product
• Experience in  awarded restaurants  and dining groups locally or internationally
• Strong financial acumen  relevant to labour and cost control
• Genuine  enthusiasm and creative thinking  for working in a new business
• Experience within a  high-volume , premium restaurant environment
• A highly  structured and organised  approach, managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Full unrestricted  Australian working rights
