• About the Role
• Act as the specialist advisor to partner with key stakeholders in delivering effective workers compensation and workers compensation claims management
• Coordinate injury rehabilitation through proactive medical management and development and monitoring of return to work programs
• Assist with the processing and effectively manage workers compensation claims
• Identify, develop, implement and review cost effective injury management strategies
• Assist with the review and implementation of injury management procedures and programs
• Review and advise on pre-employment medicals
• In consultation with Operations implement wellbeing and mental health programs
• In consultation with key stakeholders review and identify control plans for business key health and hygiene hazards
• Undertake worksite ergonomic assessments, while providing advice to Site Management on strategies to minimise risk of injury
• Attend on site as required
• About You
• 5+ years' experience within a similar role, ideally within the resources sector
• Have an allied Health Qualification - Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist, Occupational Therapist or similar
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Have the ability to influence, engage and work collaboratively and effectively with diverse groups of internal and external stakeholders
