The Opportunity

As our Senior Maritime Safety Consultant, you will lead projects, grow our pipeline, and act as the primary client interface, representing our brand.

Frazer-Nash has supported clients for over 15 years in maritime safety, helping Defence and private sector clients meet regulatory obligations and manage risks. We are delivering System Safety Programs into Defence and pursuing future opportunities. Due to growth, we seek a maritime safety leader, reporting to the Group Leader, System Safety & Assurance.

Your knowledge of maritime regulations and Defence System Safety Programs will enable you to manage projects, including teams, budgets, and quality. You will also identify new business opportunities and assist with mentoring and recruitment.

At Frazer-Nash, we work across various markets and domains, bringing experts together into unique project teams. You will deploy your expertise across projects, including autonomous systems, nuclear infrastructure safety, transport systems, and data-driven asset management, offering exceptional career and skills development opportunities.

Who are you?

Take charge of small to medium-sized projects and leverage your solid defence maritime background. You’ll have excellent client and stakeholder management skills, showcasing your professionalism in identifying needs, crafting solutions, and forging strong relationships.

You will have the following skills and qualifications :

• Foundational understanding of the Systems Engineering discipline
• Strong understanding of project management
• Have or be actively pursuing Chartered Engineer status
• Australian Citizenship and / or be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence security clearance
