  • About The Role
  • The Theatre Coordinator is responsible for effectively running the theatre space and surgeries to ensure an efficient and smooth continuum of patient care for animals undergoing surgical and surgery related procedures. This role will collaborate closely with the Surgeons, Ophthalmologists, Neurologist, Anaesthetists, Nurses, and wider theatre support team to deliver an excellent service to the surgery, neurology and ophthalmology teams and their patients.

    We are looking for a nurse with the following skills :

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • An ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in Theatre or Surgery is highly regarded
  • Confidence working in an extremely busy environment
  • Confident in their nursing abilities
  • Able to delegate tasks and lead team members effectively
  • Work collaboratively with a number of stakeholders
  • About You
  • We are looking for a passionate nurse who can work independently with a reliable, adaptable and proactive approach to your work. To be considered for this position, applicants must have :

  • Completed a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
  • A minimum of 4 years, full-time experience as a qualified nurse
  • A good understanding and experience of peri-operative services is highly regarded
