About the Role :
More Opportunities is seeking dedicated and reliable Support Workers to join our growing team, supporting NDIS participants to live independently and achieve their personal goals.
This is a casual position with the opportunity to transition into part-time employment with set shifts, once rapport is established and consistent routines are in place.
Key Responsibilities : Provide individualised support in line with participant goals and NDIS plans
Assist with personal care, daily living activities, and community access
Implement behaviour support strategies (as applicable)
Assist with mobility and manual handling tasks
Administer or assist with medication as per individual support plans
Maintain accurate progress notes and incident reports
Foster independence, dignity, and choice for participants
About You :
We're looking for Support Workers who are :
Reliable, empathetic, and person-centred in their approach
Strong communicators with a proactive attitude
Confident working independently and as part of a team
Comfortable supporting participants with a variety of physical, developmental, and psychosocial needs
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care or similar
Manual Handling Training (completed or willingness to obtain)
Medication Administration Certificate
NDIS Worker Screening Check
WWVP Check
Driver's licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
Highly Regarded : Experience with complex care, high-intensity supports or behaviours of concern
Knowledge of epilepsy management
Mental health or trauma-informed care knowledge
