Finance Officeryou will support faculties and business areas by overseeing accounts, processing purchase orders, and maintaining financial data. Your expertise will ensure our finance and accounting operations not only run smoothly and efficiently but also align with University policies and procedures. Join us and make a meaningful impact on our University's financial success!Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial TransactionsAccurately process and record financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, foreign currency transactions, credit notes, purchase orders, and more, in accordance with University policies and relevant legislation.Workflow MonitoringOversee electronic workflows related to financial transactions and resolve any issues in areas such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.Data MaintenanceMaintain financial support data within our Financial Systems, including user setup, financial master data, selection codes, and cost centre maintenance.Client SupportProvide guidance to faculties and business areas on financial transactions, Financial Systems, and business processes, and promptly resolve queries from clients, staff, and third parties.What We're Looking ForQualifications and ExperiencePrevious experience working in a finance related role. Relevant qualifications in Finance and / or Accounting are desirable.Customer Service Experience : Strong background in customer service with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Finance KnowledgeExperience and knowledge in finance operations and principles.Computer LiteracyProficient in Microsoft Suite and financial systems.AdaptabilityQuick to learn new systems and processes, with a proactive and adaptable approach to work.Work RequirementsMust have current work rights in Australia matching the tenure of the role.Based in Perth, WA.
