The Energy Data and Analytics branch part of the Strategy & Implementation Division is actively recruiting an Energy Market Analyst in the Modelling and Analytics Team.
This analyst role is responsible for developing data analytics quality assurance and reporting solutions to support and inform evidence-based policy and associated procedure development.
The Energy Market Analyst within the Modelling and Analytics Team will primarily focus on the ongoing development and associated modelling and analysis of electricity and gas markets in Australia.

It is highly desired if you have experience with performing both technical and economic analysis including using a range of relevant platforms and techniques; Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new analysis and modelling techniques as required : and Knowledge of the energy sector.
