Purpose of PositionThe Workforce Planning Analyst is a contract role, responsible for systems administration, reporting and business analysis of the payroll and related employee functions of Southern Cross Care (SCC)

- Rostering
- This position supports the Workforce Management Specialist in the day-to-day management of the RosterOn Time and Attendance system and in related special projects.
- Provide day to day support to payroll team members, care and maintenance staff using the RosterOn T&A system.
- Provide training to new staff on use of the system.
- Supporting all aspects of the Mytime Project (to replace RosterOn with Optima).
- Provide systems administration (usernames, passwords, new shifts and daily requirements, troubleshooting interface errors) for both RosterOn and Payroll Metrics.
- Preparation of reporting and analysis of timesheet and other information.
- Payroll
- The position is responsible for supporting complete and accurate payroll masterfile maintenance and reporting in accordance with legislated timeframes. This includes supporting the data extraction, interpretation, manipulation and reporting of workforce planning and payroll information.
- Ensuring the Masterfile and other payroll records are maintained and accurate.
- Resetting passwords and other system administrator activities for SCC's Payroll Metrics system.
- Payroll reporting to meet internal and statutory obligations.
- Provide assistance in data collection and presentation.

- Undertake all mandatory training in all areas of WHS as requested by SCC.
- Report any incident, accident or near mishap within 24 hours as per SCC policies and procedures.
- Comply with all SCC policies and procedures in WHS, Workers Compensation and Return to Work.

- Minimum of 2-3 years in a Business Analyst role
- Solid Microsoft Office suite experience (Excel, Power BI etc)
- Strong analytical ability to problem solve
- Good verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities

- Good understanding of Time & Attendance systems and a T&A-based work environment
- Good understanding of payroll systems & processes
- Experience in systems implementations
- Understanding of the Aged Care, Retirement Living or Not-for-Profit Sectors, or alternatively a high-volume transactional environment.
- Experience in RosterOn and / or Optima T&A, UKG HRIS, Payroll Metrics or similar systems.
- Experience in Epicor and SQL database.
