- ABOUT THE ROLE
- Assisting with the implementation and facilitation of weekly social activities and programs,
- Support the Programs Coordinator with relevant program documentation,
- Work in close communication and cooperation with all relevant stakeholders,
- Maintain crafts and games in a neat manner and in working order; keep activities area orderly and clean,
- Encouraging creativity amongst staff and participants,
- Being knowledgeable & skillful in a variety of arts, crafts and cooking activities,
- Assist Programs Coordinator with development new programs and activities,
- Ensure participants' safety during activities.
- Create an upbeat, energetic, fun environment
- QUALITIES
- At least 1 years of experience working in a similar role desired,
- Excellent communication skills and confidence to build relationships with key stakeholders,
- High level of computer literacy
- Possess very good customer service skills and good judgment,
- Strict attention to detail,
- Organisational and time management skills,
- Ability to work with a high level of autonomy,
- A knowledge and understanding of mental health, mental illness and disability.
- REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Have a Certificate III or higher in relevant qualifications.
- Current National Police Clearance
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to apply)
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to apply)
- First Aid Certificate (desirable)
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
